Please note this is a Technical Coding & SEO role combined and not a design role. We are looking for a Junior / Graduate WordPress Developer with a keen interest in furthering their Digital Marketing experience as well as their coding skills.
Inspiration Marketing, is a leading Digital Marketing Agency. We work with Government Agencies, Blue Chip Multi-nationals and Irish SME’s though clients are mainly manufacturers looking to drive exports.
Inspiration is a small, friendly, hands-on agency where you’ll get loads of practical experience, client-facing interaction and job satisfaction. We’re located in the heart of Dun Laoghaire, easily accessible by Dart and by bus and just a few minutes walk from the pier and waterfront.
Very commercial environment with multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines. New recruit will work closely with a tight-knit team, liaising with technical, design, seo, content and project management resources. Salary commensurate with experience.
You will definitely have:
- Technical WordPress skills with relevant wordpress experience
- Passionate about web development particularly wordpress with strong desire to keep up to date with the latest trends, tools and techniques
- Strong Communication and Documentation Skills
- Self Starter with Problem solving approach with can do positive solutions focus to all work
- An interest in search engine optimisation and a good grasp of the SEO process
- Perfect English; oral and written
Technical Requirements:
- Proficiency HTML5, CSS and JavaScript essential
- Experience in developing responsive/adaptive design
- Building HTML email templates
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with wireframes, grid systems and experience building WordPress sites from scratch
- Experience with CMS templating
- Knowledge of Design Software such Adobe Creative Suite
- Email Marketing Experience – Mail chimp, Campaign Monitor or similar
- Good understanding of Google Analytics (e.g. setting up goal conversions and event tracking) and Google Webmaster Tools (e.g. site map submissions)
- Ability to set up and manage social media accounts including Google +, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Setting up and configuring domain names and website hosting.
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing Strategy development & technical SEO including keyword research using Google Keyword Tool.
