Industrial Packaging is a family-owned Irish packaging and cardboard products company with a rich 75-year heritage. The company is now a premier, specialist manufacturer and distributor of high-quality industrial packaging.
The business serves diverse industries through four specialised divisions: Industrial Containers, Cardboard Cores & Tubes, Cable & Wire Packaging, and Construction Column Forms.
Key Considerations
Industrial Packaging’s previous website was built on Joomla, which was difficult for the business to maintain. Also, it didn’t reflect the company’s status as an innovative, family-run business with in-depth packaging expertise. The client wanted to highlight the extensive product range, technical competency and commitment to quality and sustainability. The site also needed to be highly visible in Google, where a lot of relevant search traffic exists.
The transition to WordPress addressed many of these challenges by creating a more manageable and SEO-friendly platform. The new site better represents Industrial Packaging’s values of performance, customer focus, respect, and integrity. Special attention was given to optimising the extensive collection of high-resolution product images and tech spec’s, ensuring fast loading times without compromising on quality. The messaging was improved and the structure of the site was modified, for easier navigation and indexation in Google. Ultimately te overall site performance has improved considerably.
