New Incoming Chair of IIA

Lets Meet! 21st March 2017

As you may be aware the Irish Internet Association has recently had a Strategic Review and in order to help drive its recommendations forward, I’m delighted to be Chair of the new Board.

One of the key recommendations of the Review for the IIA going forward was that the organisation should be heard as a vocal representative voice for its members, helping to shape policy. This will be an important aspect of our work going forward, on behalf of members.

Members will also be facilitated to

• Network together
• Learn about the latest innovations and opportunities
• Raise your own profile in the industry

And of course, celebrate at the Net Visionary Awards 2017.

Finally – the previous Board members have recently resigned and I’d like to personally thanks them for leaving the organisation in a robust financial position. Also, I’m grateful to the IEDR for sponsoring the Strategic Review which is extremely helpful. And of course, for all those who took part in that review – it has been studied very closely and will guide us into the year ahead (and beyond).
